Melanie Sokalsky is a partner with our firm. Prior to joining Corporate Counsel, Melanie was Senior Legal Counsel at the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, where she worked on several policy projects and was also responsible for reviewing prospectuses, continuous disclosure documents and applications for discretionary exemptive relief from securities law requirements.
Before joining the OSC, Melanie worked at the Canadian Securities Transition Office, and prior to this was an associate in the securities group at a national law firm. Melanie received her J.D. from the University of Toronto and her B.A.(Adv.) from the University of Manitoba.
